Grand Round: Tuesday

Grand Round sessions provide medical students with the opportunity to present real, anonymised cases in a structured format, supported by Clinical Teaching Fellows.

Each session follows a simple flow: a student-led case presentation (including history, examination, investigations, and differential diagnosis) and an evidence-based discussion using NICE/Trust guidelines.

The aim is to develop students’ presentation skills, link cases to current guidelines, and encourage interactive learning, while CTFs oversee organisation, mentor students in preparation, and ensure professional delivery.
